Purge Event — 2026.02.14 — Operation Codename: "Red Night" [unconfirmed]

The February purge was coordinated across all Division Seven nodes simultaneously. The removed records shared a single classification tag: BRIDGE-CLASS PRECURSOR. The purge was authorised by Dominion Directive 3-Gamma. Archive-07's shadow index — maintained outside the registered system — was not accessed. Its location is known only to the Senior Archivist. The official record describes the purge as "decontamination of unstable research material." Survivor testimony describes it differently. The records were containment metadata. What was actually destroyed were the people the records referenced.

"They came at 03:14. All three nodes at once. They had the records identified before they walked in. Surgical. They brought their own boxes.

They took the metadata. They thought the metadata was the secret.

The secret was who the metadata was about. I knew them. I had read every file in Division Seven for fourteen years. I knew their names. I knew their faces. I knew which of them had families.

Eight hundred forty-seven records. The Dominion thinks it destroyed eight hundred forty-seven research entries.

It destroyed eight hundred forty-seven people. I remember every one of them."

ARG ARTIFACT // A07-INDEX-PARTIAL
The purge was not random. They removed the same records from every Division Seven node simultaneously. Coordinated. Surgical. Pre-planned. What they did not know: the index was not in the files. It was in the archivist. Mara memorised it. All of it. The records were containment metadata. What they actually destroyed were the people the records referenced.
